Born around 1568, Hexia nicknamed Hellfire because of her red hair, grew up north of the Blackstone Hills being bullied by all. Her ugly looks and haircolor made her an easy target. She hated the world. On her 14th birthday, she was raped on the way home from getting some medicinal herbs to her mother, who was sick.
The next morning, she sprouted a pair of dark infernal wings. She killed the three boys and was soon chased away by the villagers who at the time had no idea what Hexia was becoming. For many years, Hexia disappeared from the surface of Gemnos, no doubt practising her art and honing her skills. She had discovered how she could use the lifeforce of infernal creatures to increase both her own power and her looks. She is thought to have influenced the wars between the Yuan-ti and man both in Caropya and Lokieska to gain souls to summon more infernal creatures to increase her own power even more.
In 2999, she surfaced again to kill Alex the Imperator, although the Imperial History Books do not tell how, only that it was a great betrayal. Sages have later speculated that it was part of opening the rift, as the death of Alex the Imperator happened exactly 800 years to the day before Hexia tore a hole in the veil between the mortal world and Hell. After 14 years with Hell on earth, the Occultist is finally killed by the Arch Magus who then closes the tear with the help from the mightiest of gold dragons.
