Fire and brimstone. That’s probably the most common visual associated with Hell, and it is not completely wrong. The topside of the real is a desolate rocky landscape ravaged by elemental storms. Everything interesting is found below ground, in six infinite caves ruled by the archdevils and demon princes Asmodeus, Grazz’t, Orcus, Demogorgon, Baphomet and Lolth. Here the demons and devils spend eternity tormenting the souls sent to them, draining them for power to fuel their infernal armies.
Travel to and from Hell
In order to get into Hell, (unless you are dead and sent there by the Prince of Shadows), you need to do one of two things:
1) Find your way to another realm of the Otherworld, and then sail to Hell via the Astral Sea.
2) Sneak in via one of the rifts from the Underworld, when a shipment of dead souls are sent through.
In order to get out of Hell, you can sail the Astral Sea and if you are a devil or a demon, you can answer a summon from a very powerful spellcaster.
